Requirements

• A Minecraft 1.8.9 setup, one of:
  • Forge (any recent 1.8.9 build)
  • OptiFine 1.8.9
  • Lunar Client (1.8.9)
  • Badlion Client (1.8.9)
• Windows or macOS
• An active Amunix account (the client validates your license on launch)

Installing

1. Download the Amunix installer from the official site.
2. Run the installer; it detects your installed 1.8.9 versions automatically.
3. Pick the 1.8.9 setup you want Amunix injected into (Forge / OptiFine / Lunar / Badlion).
4. Launch the game through your normal launcher.

Amunix loads alongside the game. You do not need a separate mods folder or loader.

Troubleshooting: antivirus false positives

Cheats such as Amunix are frequently flagged as malware because they use code injection. If the client fails to start, add exclusions for:

• The Amunix installer / launcher executable
• The folder Amunix is installed to

The exact steps depend on your antivirus software. After adding the exclusion, run the installer again.

After installing

Once the client loads, open the menu and check that every module toggles normally. See Quick Start for what to do next.
